From their Jaipur headquarters, RajBhoomi.com team announced that they would
start a Builder Ratings System and display it on their site. When asked why and
for what reason they did this, the technical director said, "we get a lot
of calls and requests on email from Rajasthanis asking us how good one builder
is compared to the other or ask how a particular builder is." They ask,
"what do you think of such and such builder and so to quantify this answer
for our site users, we came up with the Builder Ratings System."
The Builder Ratings System will decide on a score to give to each builder. The
builders will be judged by the number of projects they have under construction,
one's they have already finished, timely construction deadlines and how often
they were met by a particular builder. How much debt/asset ratio the builder
carries. How well they are equipped to handle emergency situation using their
liquidity factor. In other words, how much cash do they have on reserve to make
sure they will complete a project and if some unforeseen contingencies were to
arise, could they spend their way out of trouble to save themselves and the
investors. |
These are some important factors to weigh, but in order to effectively answer
our users questions, we have to study these factors and display them for
viewing so that real-estate investors in Rajasthan know to make the proper
decision and to put their investment with the right builder. We hope to answer
some of these important questions from the investors about the builders, but we
want to do it in a scientific method and use quantitative reasoning in deciding
the ratings a builder gets. "We know the builders will like this as this
will show them where to improve things and the investors will like it because
this is reasearch they need to perform before they invest in the builder"
said Raj Upadhyay, Founder of RajBhoomi.com. "These are important
questions to answer because the investor doesn't want to pre-book a property
for a builders project without first knowing the strength of the builder.
Comprimising on this information could result the investors in a grave
loss."
Following up with this will be a Brokers Rating System to answer questions from
investors in this regard. |
